Looking for storage solutions to a home office or study area, but aren’t satisfied with the industrial aesthetic of filing cabinets and similar offerings? If you’re looking for something warmer and more colorful than your typical office fare, maybe you’d want to take a look at Moss.
Designed by Elsa Boch, it’s a standalone storage unit that consists of envelope-like pouches, where you can place everything from books to gadgets to everyday-carry items. It should also make a handy storage piece for bedrooms and bathrooms, with the pouches looking ideal for hiding towels, delicates, and toiletries.
Moss consists of a ladder-like frame that can be set against the wall (perfect for a patch of wall next to a workstation), with four fabric pouches arranged in separate rows. It uses pouches in the form factor of conventional envelopes, complete with a lid that you can lift off when accessing the storage area. Construction is beech wood for the frame and fabric for the pouches, with foam lining that ensures sensitive gadgets you place inside won’t get nicked or scratched. The wood comes in a natural finish, which creates a nice contrast with the bright green hue of the fabric and its white accents.
