Snap Turns Any Board Of Any Shape Into Functional Tables

snap-1

Remember the Floyd Legs, a set of furniture legs that can clamp onto any board to turn it into an instant table? The Snap is similar to that, except with the added utility of being able to stack, allowing you to use the legs to construct multiple levels of shelves.

Designed for convenient use, the legs can be installed on any flat surface within seconds, allowing you to turn a box into a storage cabinet or a plank into a side table within the next minute.   You simply take the leg with one hand, pull down the flexible portion with a thumb, place it on the surface, release your thumb, and tug on the integrated cable to tighten everything up – done. Removal is just as simple, requiring you to simply pull down the flexible portion and yank the leg out.

Snap comes in two heights: 14 inches and 17 inches, so you get the proper height whether for coffee tables or work desks. It can install onto any edge of a board (no need for corners) between 0.4 to 1.57 inches thick, so you can pair it with round and irregularly-shaped boards with no problem. Constructed from steel, they’re strong, too, with four legs able to support weights of up to 154 pounds, so unless you sleep on the table, it should handle most tasks you throw its way. To ensure it doesn’t damage a board, the top part of the clamp uses a PVC cable to shield the board from the steel, with a PVC pipe doing the same for the bottom part of the assembly.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently running to fund Snap. Pledges to reserve a set of two starts at $50.
